This deliverable describes the gold master version of the three video games developed within the MEMENTOES project: Gulag Diaries (developed by FORTH), Those from Below (Causa Creations), and We Grew Up in War (Charles Games).
The document is divided into three sections, one per game. Each section provides an overview of the key elements included in the versions of the games at the time of writing, including the player’s experience, storyline, narrative style, gameplay mechanics, core features, control systems, and a walkthrough of each game. The document also highlights changes to the visual style, development tools, and technologies used throughout the game development process, as well as instructions on how to install and run the games. Finally, each game summary ends with a list of planned development tasks for the months after this report was written.
Overall, the report represents the current state of development of the games at the time of submission, May 2025. Although developers continued work on these games in the months after this report, the versions described here are considered representative of the games and their functions, providing a sense of the final games.
The lead author of the report was Charles Games, with contributions from Causa Creations and FORTH.
This deliverable is currently under review by the European Commission and will be released publicly once approved.
